The LK Domain Registry has recognized the importance of making domain names available to all those, both in Sri Lanka and abroad, who use the next generation Internet Protocol, IPv6. Therefore, it has worked with Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), Sri Lanka's premier Internet provider, to enable IPv6 connectivity to LK Domain Registry network from the 1st of December 2014.

The LK Domain Registry held its Agents' Convention on 29th April 2015 at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo.
